I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor with a passion for health, wellness, and healing. My journey into physical fitness began at a young age as a competitive gymnast and evolved into triathlons. I love being in nature. I especially enjoy surfing, paddleboarding, snowboarding and hiking with my family and our dog.
I believe physical fitness, a healthy lifestyle and yoga are an on-going journey and a form of self-expression. I focus specifically on the mind-body connection and balance within our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual selves. A crucial part of my teaching includes leading a safe and supportive fitness program and yoga practice while also encouraging personal growth.
My ultimate goal is to gather with community members to practice healthy living both in the gym and out, dive deeper into how we can live our best lives, and discover ways to take our practice into the community.
I have certifications through Always-At-Aum (200 Hr. Yoga Teacher Training), United We Om in trauma-based yoga, Academy of Surfing Instructor (ASI), group fitness trained in Pound® Fitness and Board 30. Additionally, I have CPR, AED, First Aid training through American Red Cross, Seizure Recognition and Seizure First Aid Certification through EPIC Long Island.
I am a happily married Mom of 4 with a dog, 2 cats and a brood of chickens.
